Eagle Scout Action

December 12, 2009 - the day of Christopher's Eagle Project. As you can see it is cold for Texas that is and misting. There was a great turnout of some amazing folks who worked really hard. The project was completed in one day. Christopher did an amazing job. The hard part for Mom was to stand on the sidelines and watch. Her baby is growing up.

The project consisted of rasied beds, a new structure with a potters table and a bench for the kids to sit on.

Sarah, Caitlin, and the Grinch

At Halloween Barbie always sells little Kelly dolls. This year there was a Kelly Doll with green skin that Sarah named Caitlin. She took Caitlin everywhere even to school with her. One day she misplaced Caitlin and we could not find here anywhere.

Everyday she would say how much she missed Caitlin. We did what every adoring parent does - we ordered a new one from Amazon at twice the price. Yeah - the day Caitlin arrived was a glorious day for Sarah. We took Caitlin with us to Grapevine and the Grinch even had Caitlin sit on his lap. Life was good with Sarah and Caitlin.

But this would not last long. We stopped by Great Wolf Lodge and she was enthralled with all the things to do. Later in the day she remembered Caitlin and she was no where to be found. Oh No..... David said, "order two this time"

Sarah and the Grinch

We went to Grapevine Texas over Christmas Break. The Gaylord Resort held and Ice-Event and Breakfast with the Grinch. Sarah was too cute and the Grinch was oh so very sweet with her. She was the ony kid while we were there that the Grinch held (hard to tell if inside the suit it was a guy or girl).
